I was wondering if anyone has heard anything from or about Express-Files, whether or not they have gone away for good, or are they still trying to upgrade their system? If they're gone for good, is there an alternative to them, or other sites like them out there?

It's impossible to predict the future, when no information is provided, but it appears the company won't make its return any time soon. However, You can simply use uTorrent and its built-in search engine. It's practically the same, because Express Files was using the method. It was actually a kind of reskinned "uTorrent", if you could say so.
